About
A short note about who I am, what I build, and why this site exists.
I'm Ranjeet. I started out building products—mostly full stack and backend systems—where the goal was just to make things that worked for people.
Over time, I found myself less interested in "shiny" frontend features and more curious about the invisible parts: how systems stay stable under load, how deployments work without breaking, and how we know what's actually happening inside a production environment.
At StockDaddy, I spent 5+ years building and maintaining application engineering systems. That experience naturally shifted my focus toward reliability and infrastructure. This site is where I document my projects, tools, and ongoing learning across both application engineering and reliability engineering.
I’ve organized it into a few sections:
- Writing: Thoughts on architecture, reliability, and engineering systems.
- Projects: Case studies of things I've built and the lessons they taught me.
- Coding Diary: Small, day-to-day notes and snippets from my work.
- Now: A quick look at what I’m currently focused on.
If you’re interested in engineering, reliability, or just want to see how I think, I hope you find something here worth reading.
